Custom Engagement Rings in Toronto
Bring an idea, a saved photo or nothing at all. We sketch it with you, show you a 3D render, help you choose the diamond, and make the ring by hand in our Toronto studio.
Find your setting style
Most couples start with a style they have seen and change the details from there. These are the settings we make most often.
Solitaire
One diamond on a clean band. Four or six prongs, a low or high profile, and a band as fine as 1.6 mm. It keeps every bit of attention on the stone.
Halo
A ring of small diamonds around the centre stone. It makes the centre look larger and adds sparkle, and it can be hidden under the stone for a cleaner side view.
Three-stone
A centre diamond with a matched stone on each side. Side stones can be round, pear, baguette or trapezoid, and they set the overall shape of the ring.
Vintage and Art Deco
Milgrain edges, engraving, geometric side stones and old cuts. We can work from a family photo or a period you love.
Cathedral
Shoulders that arch up to hold the centre stone. It lifts the diamond and lets a wedding band sit flush underneath.
Pavé
Small diamonds set close together along the band. Full, half or three-quarter pavé changes how much the ring catches light from every angle.
Designed with you, not picked from a case
Your consultation is one on one, in the studio or by video. We look at your references, talk about how the ring will be worn, and set a budget range together.
You then get hand sketches and a 3D CAD render you can turn and zoom. Change the prongs, the band width or the profile until it looks right. Nothing is made until you approve the design.
How the process worksNatural or lab-grown diamonds
Natural diamonds come with a GIA grading report. Lab-grown diamonds come with an IGI report. Both are real diamonds with the same hardness and sparkle; the difference is origin and price.
We show you several stones side by side, explain the cut, colour and clarity of each, and let you compare them in person or on video before you decide.

Meet in the studio or by video. Share photos, ideas, a budget range and any old jewellery you want to trade in. It is free and there is no obligation.
Sketch and 3D render
We draw options by hand, then build a 3D render you can turn and zoom. Revise it until it is right.
Choose the diamond
Compare certified natural (GIA) and lab-grown (IGI) stones side by side, with every report explained.
Made by hand
Your piece is cast, set and finished at our Toronto bench, usually within 3 to 4 weeks of design approval.
Final check and delivery
We inspect every setting, photograph the piece and hand it to you in person or by insured delivery.
Trade in your old jewellery toward something new.
Rings you no longer wear, single earrings, broken chains, outdated settings: they still have value. Bring them in and we credit them toward any piece you design with us.
What we accept
Gold in any karat and colour, platinum, diamonds and many gemstones. Rings, bands, chains, bracelets, earrings and pendants, whether they are worn, broken or missing stones.
How we value it
We test the metal, weigh it in front of you and assess each diamond for cut, colour, clarity and carat. You get a written trade-in value before you decide anything.
Use it on any piece
Your credit applies to engagement rings, wedding bands, tennis pieces, pendants, earrings, redesigns and repairs. It comes off your quote and can cover part or all of your deposit.
Keep what matters
Want to keep a stone for sentimental reasons? We can set it into your new design and trade in only the rest, so nothing meaningful is lost.
No paperwork needed
Receipts and grading reports help, but you do not need them. We assess every piece in the studio or start the conversation by video from photos.

The assessment is part of your free consultation. If you decide not to go ahead, your jewellery goes home with you, exactly as you brought it.

See all questionsHow much does a custom engagement ring cost?
Every ring is quoted after your consultation because the diamond, metal and setting change the price. Share your budget range when you book and we design within it. You can also trade in old jewellery, and its value comes off the price of your ring.
How long does a custom engagement ring take?
Most rings are ready 3 to 4 weeks after you approve the 3D design. Tell us your proposal date at the consultation and we plan the schedule around it.
Can I use a diamond I already have?
Yes, we can set a stone you supply. We check it under magnification first and tell you if anything about the stone affects the setting.
What if I don't know their ring size?
We can make the ring to an estimated size and resize it after the proposal. Most solid bands can be resized at no charge in the first year.
Do I need a design before I book?
No. Many clients arrive with a few photos or only a budget. The consultation is where the design starts.
Do you accept old jewellery as a trade-in?
Yes. We accept gold, platinum, diamonds and many gemstones as a trade-in, and credit their value toward any new piece you design with us. Worn, broken or mismatched pieces are welcome.
